Support

The Sanctuary has functioned for thirty years with the committed support of friends, family and a few like minded organizations. People have helped out in all kinds of ways, from generously giving their time and labour to books, funds and equipment.

We take this opportunity to thank all our friends and supporting donor organizations who have helped to grow the Sanctuary over all these years.

Would you like to become a friend of the Sanctuary?

This page is an appeal to grow the Friends of the Sanctuary, even further. There exists already an informal network of individuals in India, Holland, Switzerland and the UK, dedicating regular small and large donations to the Sanctuary.

If you or your friends would like to participate financially in sustaining this work, please let us know. Your contribution is your way of endorsing the urgency of protecting and nurturing the last of this region's biodiversity.

If 3000 individuals were to commit Rs. 1000 a year (less than $20!), our running expenses would be taken care of. If all could contribute twice as much, then we could purchase more land, to return it to forest. With three times this amount, the corpus fund could grow.
