Note on names:

Gurukula Botanical Sanctuary is the place, the vision and the community, and activities ensuing from these.

The Green Phoenix is the outreach aspect of the restoration initiative of the Sanctuary.

The School in the Forest includes all the educational work with children and youth at the Sanctuary.

Munnarakkunnu Trust (MKT) is registered under the Indian Trusts Act (Registration No: 408/1996-97 Date: 9th July 1996) with permission to receive money from India under section 12 A and 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961 and from abroad under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). MKT is also registered for undertaking CSR activities.
